For many years Tony Garvie from www.graftontaxis.co.uk has arranged all of the flower arrangements and organised sponsors to donate money towards the flowers and plants.
The Station staff look after all the gardening and make sure that the flowers are watered on a daily basis in the summer season and kept trimmed.
During the years the station has done very well in competitions and have achieved awards from Stratford in Bloom in the Public Building Category. The station won first prize in 2002 and 2005
and second in 2003. The station has won the Community Involvement Award from Central Train in 2002 and 2003.
