About Peter Tandy www.petertandy.co.uk

Peter Tandy is a Stratfordian  born and bred, with a long term interest in railways. His first memory of trains is of running in terror across the Alcester Road railway bridge so as not to be enveloped in the clouds of steam and smoke coming from the scary beast being watered at the platform end below. During a holiday in London in 1963 when his cousin took him around many of the main line termini, that terror turned to fascination.

He started taking photographs in the 1980s and has amassed a large collection of images since that time. He has had many photographs published in books and magazines but now concentrates on publishing them on the internet, via his personal website. (www.petertandy.co.uk)
